It’s back! I know, it’s been too long since I’ve done a Walking the Toy Aisle post. In my defense, there hasn’t been much of note in the stores lately. Now that Fall is nearly here, we’re seeing a few new things hitting the aisles.
Our Generation was highly represented at our local Target. The doll below comes with a bunch of cool movie themed props.
The Barbie stock wasn’t too exciting, unfortunately.
This Fashionista below does have a pretty cool look. Notice the details in her hair.
While I like that Barbie is partnering with National Geographic, I am not impressed with the doll. Her face paint looks flat and unrealistic, her outfit isn’t flattering to her body type and in general, she’s just not very pretty.
I wish Mattel would retire the purple hair. We’ve seen this multiple times now on Barbie and Skipper. The Fashionista below is an example of a doll that just wasn’t designed very well, in my opinion. I would have preferred her to have a more natural hairstyle (she could totally rock an afro) and maybe a different lip color.
Stacie has some articulation. That’s pretty awesome.
Some of Target’s end caps had me wondering if I’d time traveled between aisle 3 and 4.
To be honest, the only Super Hero Girls I like are Wonder Woman, Katana and Bumble Bee. Super Girl’s expression and weird eyes are just– a bit odd looking!
LOL Surprise Furniture is small, but kind of cute. I think the car looks cute! Reminds me of my Pinky ST car.
Kandi Kids are way bigger than I expected! I like their big sparkly eyes!
I have to give Boxy Girls a lot of credit- they’ve expanded way more than I expected them to!
Also, Jojo is still ruling the toy aisles. Here’s her Hairdorable!
We didn’t see all the BTS dolls, but saw a few! Definitely worth a look due to their unique faces and hairstyles.Follow my blog with Bloglovin
